About Us
Our Story
Tim Bruce, the training consultant is the owner and primary developer of Aptitude Factory. His guiding principle is training's end result is improved performance.
Tim is an Air Force veteran who served as a trainer, instructor, curriculum developer and training superintendent over a 28-year career. He served at all levels from front-line trainer, class-room instructor, instructional design, curricula and course development, to developing, implementing and evaluating the military training program at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Tim continued to create eLearning, live and virtual content for the Internal Revenue Service until 2023. Here he gained experience as a Learning Management System (LMS) super user. He has extensive experience with eLearning authoring platforms Articulate, Adobe Captivate and various TechSmith tools such as Camtasia. Tim's training content will meet all accessibility requirements of the American with Disabilities Act, Section 508.
As an instructional designer Tim believes that learning happens when training is well designed, regardless of the delivery platform. He strives to make training an experience, because that's how people learn.
After receiving his MBA from Texas State University, Tim decided to be an entrepreneur and began his journey as a small business.
